Your Impact
When you buy this product, you are contributing to the Life Skills based education of the children under LECIN (Let’s Educate Children In Need). LECIN was initiated with the goal of imparting knowledge to the underprivileged children in Delhi, especially from the slums. LECIN has helped more than 120 kids with the help of 50 vibrant volunteers in the span of one year.

Let's Educate Children In Need

Let’s Educate Children In Need (LECIN) was initiated by two students: Nupur Bhardwaj and Rohit Kumar from Delhi University, with a goal to impart the gift of education to underprivileged children of Delhi.

When Nupur was in the second year of her Bachelor’s degree, she decided to teach a few slum children, which in turn inspired the idea of LECIN. This organisation now works with more than 1500 children in the slums and government schools of Delhi and Noida with the help of 300 vibrant volunteers.

LECIN has caught the attention of many people because of its unique teaching methods which includes the exposure to art and other such activities. The products from LECIN are made by the volunteers and girls from low income communities they collaborate with.

Nupur, co-founder of LECIN, believes that helping, more than being a charity, is a way for us to understand our fellow beings, whom we have neglected all our lives.
