One of the rarest in the world, this honey is harvested only in small quantities every year. The Sweet Cliff Honey is certified organic by the Government of Chattisgarh under the CGCERT organic certification scheme.
The People
This honey is extracted by tribal honey hunters living in the dense forests of Chattisgarh from rock Bee hives hanging under the steep cliffs. It is also harvested from the wild bee hives in the forests of the Western Ghats. It has a sweet taste with mildly bitter notes, and contains the nectar of many medicinal wildflowers.

The Life of the Bee
Honey and Spice was founded out of our passion for honey, bees and beekeeping.
It all started when we encountered an indigenous tribe on one of our trips.
It proved to be life changing as we learnt about their occupation which is honey harvesting.
What started as an experiment has turned out to be our passion now.
From selling at flea markets to gourmet retailers, it has been a beautiful journey.
